We’re proud to share that Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Q was recently featured in an article by WFAA and the Dallas Business Journal, highlighting the grand opening of our first brick-and-mortar location in Allen.
After years of serving guests from our food trailer in Grapevine, we officially opened the doors to our permanent home in Watters Creek Village on January 31. The response has been incredible, with early praise from local and national media, including the Dallas Morning News calling us the hottest barbecue joint in North Texas.
The article also shares more about our partnership with M Crowd Restaurant Group, the team behind Mi Cocina and The Mercury. This collaboration allows Pitmaster and Co-Owner Trey Sánchez to focus fully on the food, while M Crowd helps manage day-to-day operations behind the scenes.
Vaqueros continues to serve classic Texas barbecue with a bold, Mexican-inspired twist. From brisket and ribs to tacos, burgers, and even vegetarian options, our menu is designed to surprise and satisfy. We’re open seven days a week for lunch and dinner inside a thriving dining hub alongside other Watters Creek favorites.
